Lip Renewal™ Duo

I live in the mountains and work in the desert so I go from one harsh dry environment to another in the same day. It wreaks havoc on my skin and lips and I suffer from dry cracks on the sides of my mouth that take forever to heal. So far, using this at night has helped and the cracks are finally healing! So happy I purchased two more so I can keep one at work and in my car in addition to next to my bed. It is sticky so when wearing at night debris might get stuck to your lips (I have cats so yay cat fur) but since it works that doesn’t bother me that much since I can just wipe it away when I wash my face. It looks like a lip gloss verses chapstick and I’m not big on gloss but as I said, it’s the only thing I’m finding that works on my dry lips so I’m okay with it. For reference, I’ve tried sleeping in chapstick, other night lip treatments, Laneige and using petroleum jelly for the cracks and they help some but nothing has prevented them but this seems like it will!

Pros: My favorite thing about this product is that I've noticed my lips getting softer even with just a week of use. The formula of this is very thick & hydrating, and it took me some time to find the correct amount for my lips. If you layer more product than you need, it will get gloopy. I did that the first night and had these white blobs on my lips in the morning from the excess product, so now I use less :) But it's quickly become a staple in my night time routine and I look forward to using it, especially since it has a slight vanilla scent.

Cons: I'm a little disappointed with the packaging. It does look cute, but the logo on mine is already scratching off after just a week (I keep it in my makeup bag/purse). And I don't know if this is specific to the product I received, but I really don't see much product in the bottle (picture below is how it came delivered). Even with the applicator fully in, the product only fills 75% of the bottle. I removed the applicator from the bottle and let it rest for 10 mins to see how much product was in there, and it was less than halfway full. I also wish the bottle had a stopper in the neck because the product seems to come up all the way to the top when I start to lift the applicator out. IMO, the ELF lip oil packaging would have worked so much better because 1) the applicator is more plush 2) the packaging is more compact and still offers 2x the product than Ravie does with bigger packaging 3) the bottle has a stopper which ensures…

I stumbled upon Allie’s YouTube channel and also this beauty brand and I’m so thankful! Firstly, she is so sweet and her kindness shows through every video! Everyone should subscribe and follow her! Second, this product is insanely good!!!! Lasts ALL NIGHT LONG, is so Lucious and buttery on the lips, leaves them feeling so hydrated and healthy. Applying this lip oil is the BEST and my most favorite part of my night time skincare routine! Thank you Allie for creating this!!!! I’ve just ordered 3 more during the Black Friday sale lol
