Mascara is the one product I've been the pickiest about my entire life. I've tried hundreds. I'm disappointed more than I'm impressed. So when it came time to make one, I was not about to settle.

It took 3 years. I tested over a hundred formulas. I went through applicator after applicator until the curve was right, the separation was right, and the wear was right. I wasn't going to compromise on any of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it waterproof? No, and that's intentional. Most waterproof mascaras require harsh removers that tug and pull at your lashes over time. We chose easy removal on purpose. This mascara holds up through a full day of normal wear, workouts, and watery eyes. But if you need mascara for swimming or heavy rain, this isn't the one.

Is it a tubing mascara? No. It's a modern polymer formula made with plant-based waxes. It shares the best quality of tubing mascaras (washes off easily with warm water) without the limitations. Different technology, similar convenience.

How do I wash it off? Warm water. Put warm water on your hands, gently rub your lashes to break down the formula, and rinse. It dissolves into a liquid instead of coming off in clumps. No special remover needed.

Can I build it up for a more dramatic look? Yes. One coat gives you a natural, lifted look. Two or three coats give you more volume and definition. It won't clump or get heavy no matter how many layers you add.

Which shade should I choose? Choose Black if you want classic, deeper lash definition. Choose Brown if you want a softer everyday look that still lifts, lengthens, and defines. If black mascara ever feels like more than you need, Brown is probably your shade.

Is Brown warm or cool toned? Brown is a true neutral brown with a neutral-leaning cool balance. It was designed to look soft and natural, not overly warm, reddish, or too close to black.

Can I wear Black and Brown together? Yes. Allie loves Black on the top lashes with Brown on the lower lashes for definition that still feels soft and balanced.

How long does one tube last? It depends on how often you use it and how many coats you like, but with daily use most people will get 2-3 months. At 9.5 mL, it's a larger fill than most mascaras in this category, so it goes further than you'd expect. We recommend replacing every 3 months for hygiene, which is standard for any mascara.

Amazing Mascara
I'm loving this mascara, Allie was right it definitely gets better as it ages. It doesn't flake or smudge which is amazing! It does come off super easy!! I'm so excited to try the brown shade next and see how it looks with my eyes!! Love Ravie!!!

This is ITTTT!
Y'all I love this stuff. I’ve been on the hunt for MY mascara and this is it. For context, I have hooded eyes. My lashes are average length and are fairly fine. The final “blessing” is that they have trouble holding a curl. Lucky me!
It is humid where I live and at the end of the day, I only had the smallest amount of transfer under my eyes at the outer corner. That was so easy to lightly swipe away. My lashes tend to get wonky and transfer a bit there anyway.
After curling for ten seconds both at the base and ends of my lashes, the mascara applied beautifully. The separation was so pretty! And it stays that way!
I tried it with the cils primer and like the Ravie better on its own. I’m all for simplifying my routine!
I’m definitely going to repurchase the black, but I want to try the beautiful new brown shade too!

Mascara
This mascara is nice and lightweight, very natural looking. It does a good job lengthing, I have long lashes and like a bit more volume. Its easy to work with. Unfortunately I did get some light transfer to my bottom even though I didnt put anything on my lower lashes. It didn't flake tho which is nice. Easy to remove.

My new go-to mascara
I feel like it's weird to say that a mascara is flattering, but that's exactly what the effortless lash classic curve mascara is! I first put it on thinking it was nice and easy to apply. Throughout the day I kept noticing my eyes looked a little different and more emphasized than usual. Then I remembered it's probably the new mascara! This gives great volume and and length and a good curl! It also wears extremely well, coming from a FL girl. This isn't the best photo but it's at the end if a day, after an am weightlifting session, working all day, a midday walk, cooking dinner, a cycling session, and a pm dog walk.
