I've been loving this as a makeup primer. For reference, I had been using the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. In comparison, Ravie's Signature Skin cream is lighter, less greasy, and more moisturizing.
With the Bobbi Brown cream, I tend to look oily at the end of the day because it's so heavy. And even though it's very smoothing, I don't think it really sinks into the skin.
But with the Ravie Signature Skin cream, it sinks into the skin more and really makes my face feel moisturized, not dry or tight. And because it's lightweight, I can wear it all day without having to worry about looking greasy or touching up.
So as a fall/winter primer, it's great. I'm curious to see how it holds up in the warmer, more humid months.

I’ve struggled with dry cracking peeling bleeding lips most of my life, even with the best of the best Sephora lip treatments and balms out there. I have never had such healthy, plump, juicy lips (even in the summer) than I do now in the midst of a cold winter when I consistently use this. I use it constantly and it stays on so well. I also top my lipstick with this which surprised me because I’ve hated every gloss or balm I ever topped over my matte lips. Thank you, Allie. Some of the reasons I like this moisturizer, although I have only had it a couple of weeks, :
*It does not bother my rosacea
*it takes very little to get coverage
*fancy bottle - never seen one open and close this way , should be great for travel
* my skin feels soft after applying

The Signature Skin Dream Barrier Cream is really a dream. From the gorgeous packaging to its silk like texture- it absorbs right into the skin so well. I absolutely love how my skin feels after using it. I have dry/sensitive sand rosacea (40+ mature) skin- no adverse reactions and no burning. This cream just feels amazing. I didn’t experience any pilling with my foundation over it (I use skin tints and light to medium coverage foundations). I am really impressed and honestly this has become a huge part of my makeup and skincare routine. Also, it’s sooooo hydrating!!!! Love it!
