I’ve always loved a little bit of magic in my everyday makeup, and for me that’s usually something special on my eyes. I dreamed about these for a long time, and they turned out so pretty!

I wanted them to be easy to apply and buildable, so they’re not an immediate commitment, whatever your sparkle tolerance. And since my nails never quite dig into a pot, I made them pressed pans. Pop them on with your fingertips and you’re good to go!

What’s the difference between a topper and an eyeshadow? An eyeshadow gives you color. A topper gives you light. Wear Softlight on its own, or over your eyeshadow for more depth.

I’ve never worn glitter. Is this for me? Yes. It starts sheer and isn’t chunky, so it’s an easy first topper. Start with one tap of Soft Pink, the most subtle of the three, and see how you like it.

What does it look like on? It catches the light and shifts as you move, and it’s especially pretty in the sun and by candlelight.

How much sparkle should I expect? One tap is sheer. Keep tapping and the sparkle builds, so you can keep it subtle or go for more.

Is it for every day or special occasions? Both. Keep it sheer for work and errands, or add a few taps for evenings, weddings and the holidays.

Do I need a brush? No. It’s made for your fingertip, so it picks up easily and taps right onto your lids. Feel free to use a dense brush if you’d like.

Where should I tap it? Start in the center of your lid and build up there, or spread it across your whole lid for more.

Can I mix the shades? Yes, and there’s no wrong way to do it. For a halo, tap Soft Pearl in the center of your lid over Soft Pink or Soft Gold. Or try all three: Pearl in the inner corner, Pink in the center and Gold on the outer lid.

Does it have a scent? No. It’s fragrance-free.

How long does one compact last? A long time, depending on how much you layer.
