Where the format came from
Allie took her first trip to Italy in July 2023 to visit manufacturers. The baked-products section of the factory tour is the one that stopped her. She knew before the trip that she wanted to launch blush. What she did not know until the visit was that her blush had to be baked. Italy is one of the leading regions in the world for makeup manufacturing, and the lab she worked with specializes in baked products.
What baked means in practice
A baked blush starts as a cream. The lab mixes pigments with binders into something closer to a batter, then assembles the batter on terracotta tiles by hand. The tiles go onto cookie sheets and into massive ovens to bake. Once baked, the blush is polished and sent on.
Every shade is variegated, which means two colors are marbled together in each pan. That marbling happens during the hand-pressing stage and produces a different pattern in every single pan. The clear top of the packaging was chosen so customers can see it.
The cream base gives the finish a natural, watercolor look. The baking gives the formula the longevity and blendability of a powder. The result is a powder that behaves like a cream and a cream that wears like a powder.
The original three: Daydream, Paradise, Oasis
The launch trio set the naming convention. Each shade is named after a place of escape, because blush for Allie is less a step in a routine and more a small pause that transports the wearer somewhere else for a minute.
Daydream is the peachy pink. A pink marbled with a peach. The classic everyday blush shade, the one for a fresh polished look with nothing else competing for attention. Daydream pairs with Peony and Poppy from Effortless Lips depending on whether the look should pull pink or peach.
Paradise is the sun-kissed pink. A toasted-tan color marbled with a mauvey-pink, designed to capture how the face looks after vacation. Paradise has become the brand’s bestseller of the original three. Allie discovered by accident, on a day she was rushed, that Paradise works as a face-warming color across the whole face. She now applies it on the forehead, chin, across the nose, and into the eye area for a five-minute everyday face.
Oasis is the raspberry pink. A warm raspberry red marbled with a deep berry. The boldest shade in the original launch, designed to flatter a wide range of skin tones because the berry tones down the red. Allie keeps the eye and lip soft when she wears Oasis and lets the cheek be the focal point. She also pats a little Oasis onto the lips for a monochromatic look.
The shade extension: Heaven and Hideaway
In early 2026, the range expanded by two shades. Heaven and Hideaway were the first Ravie products inspired by Allie’s late sister Hailey, which is why both names start with an H. The expansion filled two gaps Allie had identified before she added the shades.
Heaven is the lightest shade in the range. A cool-toned soft pink that sits in the gap before Daydream that the original trio left open. Customers with more fair skin tones, or anyone who likes a heavier hand with blush, now have a soft pink that does not pull neon. Built up, it gives a flushed, lit-from-within look on medium skin tones as well, so it is not only a fair-skin shade.
Hideaway is the terracotta rose. The shade sits in the gap between Paradise and Oasis. Hideaway is more saturated than Paradise and slightly more rosy. It captures the look of being on vacation rather than the look of having just returned. A warm brown grounds the rose so the finish reads like a sun-kissed flush rather than a flat pink cheek.
What the formula does on the skin
Allie has acne-prone skin and larger pores on her cheeks. The finish reads as a satin natural matte with a slight sheen from the cream base, but no visible pearl or shimmer. Pearls can sit in pores and emphasize texture, which is the failure mode Allie most wanted to avoid.
The blush diffuses into the skin rather than sitting on top. The buildable pigmentation lets the customer go from a soft daily wash to a fuller flush without switching products. Allie often skips highlighter entirely because the blush makes the whole complexion look healthy on its own.
The custom blush brush
Allie designed a brush to ship alongside the blush. It is tapered all the way around, which makes it foolproof. Most blush brushes have an angle that has to be held a specific way. Allie wanted hers to work no matter how the customer picked it up. She taps the brush into the cheek to deposit color in the apple, then takes it head-on and buffs the product into the skin in circles.

Paradise covers the toasted, post-vacation cheek. Hideaway covers the on-vacation rosy-tan cheek. Oasis covers the bold berry-kissed cheek.
